Nice ice cream shop with great selection of flavors. They also sell a variety of dog ice cream. Delicious cake like brownies. Has a Great old school feel with friendly staff.

Great ambience in a storefront on downtown Stratford with friendly service. Didn't know there was an actual witch trial in Stratford but apparently there was, and the ice cream place was named after her. Ice cream was tasty although there are some other local spots I prefer.

Expensive

Unsatisfied first time customer. Order milkshake made of strawberry ice cream and bottled milk, totally dumfounded. I made better shake camping with no ice cream in site. Daughter was equally as disturb,her order had very little sprinkles. Never coming here again...

This ice cream has to be the best in CT. The place is very easy to miss, but it is worth stopping inside. I got the cotton candy ice cream it was rich and creamy. It is full of flavors that you have never heard of, and of course the flavors that everyone knows. I would highly recomend going here it is the best!

I love this place! Their pistachio ice cream is out of this world! And the owner is such a nice person. Love going there even during the winter with the family... :-)

Good ice cream

Love 'em, but they need to add marshmallow topping. Keeps me from going there sometimes. A good ice cream shop MUST have marshmallow.

Great place. They have a large selection of flavors of high quality. The pistachio ice cream was chocked full of large pieces of nuts. We also tried the strawberry, mint chocolate and cotton candy and they all were very good. The staff was also very friendly, helpful and quick in service. It was a great experience.

Ice cream was wonderful. They make their own waffle cones fresh daily. Owner is very friendly, told us about the history of Goodie Bassett. The interior of the shop is decorated with old prints, pictures, and maps. It looks like you've stepped back in time. Clean and tidy. Home made fudge is amazing!. Well worth it to go. Parking is also behind the building.

The absolute best peach ice cream with hand made waffle cone ever I want another but the other ice creams looked delicious as well a hard choice next time I shop there.

Very welcoming and delicious. Alcoholic ice cream is a win. As is the K9 ice cream bowl for the dog with kibble mixed in.

The flavors are amazing and the homemade waffle cones hit the spot. The fact that they have ice cream for the dog is even better and they are set up on uber eats for those nights you need ice cream but can't get out of the house.

A hidden gem in Stratford. They have a good variety of flavors. My favorite are the coconut and cookies and cream. The ice cream is good and creamy and is open year round. Also, the building is a piece of Stratford history and inside they have old pictures of the town.

Tried this place yesterday . I like it . Most of the ice cream is made in house. Very thick and creamy and a good selection of flavors . Open all year too
